Edgewater Sales Tax Returns for 2024

Starting January 1, 2024, businesses should note the following changes for Edgewater Sales Tax Returns:

Submit 2024 Tax Returns along with 2024 State Returns to https://colorado.munirevs.com/.

Use City of Edgewater Jurisdiction #11-0032 when filing.

What Does This Mean for Businesses?

For the period ending 12/31/2023, all final returns must be submitted directly to The City of Edgewater by 01/20/2024. After this date, sales will be accounted for on the State of Colorado sales tax return, incorporating the City of Edgewater Jurisdiction #11-0032.

How to File Based on Filing Frequency

Same Filing Frequency with State and City:

If your filing frequency is the same with both the State and the City, submit the 12/31/2023 return with the City. Subsequent returns will be included in your State return.

Different Filing Frequencies:

If you have different filing frequencies with the City and State, file the 12/31/2023 return with the City first. Then, continue filing with the State using the City of Edgewater Jurisdiction #11-0032.

Examples:

If you file quarterly with the City and monthly with the State, file the 12/31/2023 return with the City and include all sales in the State return using City of Edgewater Jurisdiction #11-0032.

If you file annually with the City and quarterly with the State, submit a 12/31/2023 return with the City and transition to quarterly filings with your State return using City of Edgewater Jurisdiction #11-0032.

Understanding these changes and adjusting your filing processes accordingly will ensure a smooth transition and compliance with the latest Edgewater sales tax return regulations.
